Trevor Nash
Owner Northstar Legacy Inc. Personal Financial Planner, PFP

Trevor Nash, a proud member of Couchiching First Nation, has been in the financial services industry since 2009. Upon graduation from Lakehead University's Bachelor of Commerce program with a major in Finance, he worked at the Royal Bank of Canada for 7 years. In 2016, Trevor followed in his brother and father's footsteps to create a career where he could work directly for his clients, rather than the shareholders of the big banks. Trevor holds the Personal Financial Planning designation from the Canadian Securities Institute. He specializes in financial planning for First Nation communities, organizations, and individuals and understands cultural barriers and that are required to support in financial planning decisions. During his free time, Trevor's passion of hunting and fishing with his family keep him busy.

Julie Nash
Owner Northstar Legacy Inc. Personal Financial Planner, PFP

Julie joined Normaxx Financial Group in 2019 after spending over 7 years with RBC (Royal Bank of Canada) serving in multiple roles such as Branch Manager and Financial Advisor. Julie is a lifetime resident of Northwestern Ontario, born in Geraldton, Ontario. She received her Financial Planning designation (PFP) through the Canadian Securities Institute in 2019. She has 12+years working in financial client facing roles. Her client relationships have always been a priority. Since 2023, Julie has been working with First Nation communities as an estate management coordinator/financial planner assisting individuals in creating an estate plan to ensure their final wishes are clearly outlined and ensuring a long-lasting legacy. Her experience with First Nation individuals and communities have allowed her to better understand cultural barriers in order to be able to better serve her clients. Outside of work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family outdoors camping, hunting and fishing.
